Rajaji Hall

Built by Edward Clive to celeberate the English Victory over Tipu Sultan, this August Hall was originally the banqueting hall of the Governor's residence. It was built in the shape of a Greek temple.

This was renamed as Rajaji Hall, C.Rajagopachari, who was India's first Indian Governor-General. It was now Used for public functions.
