Temples of Mangadu

It has four small, ancient temples - Vallisvarar, Kamakshiamman, Mariamman and a Vishnu temple. A beautiful temple of Vishnu Is know sadly be dilapidated.

The Kamakshiamman temple is well-preserved and has a icon of exceptional beauty. The goddess parvathi is been sculptured as standing on one leg and over five fires with the rudrakshamala held in one hand and an expression of serene contentment of her face.
