Rajiv Gandhi Memorial

It is raised in honour of Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India who was assassinated here by a human bomb in 1991. It incidentally happens to be the birthplace of Sri Ramanujar, the Vaishnavite saint.

It is located at Sriperumbudur, 40Kms from Chennai
