Thiruneermalai

It is an ancient village and renowned Vaishnavite center, This place has two temples,one on the hill and another one in the village. The hill shrine Dedicated to Sri Ranganathar, it has some invaluable bronzes and its gopuram is a three-storeyed bricks mortar structure.

The village temple is bigger and it is architecturally, More impressive. Its outer walls of the main shrine has a stunning freize of yalls.
